Colorado Thunderstorm

Since fireflies are very rare in Colorado, so I was incredibly grateful to the local scientists who showed me this wetland location near Boulder. The view was spectacular. Nature put on a show with three layers of light that night—fireflies dancing in the grass, stars glowing above, and a lightning storm flashing in the distance.
