Illuminating the World of Endangered Fireflies

"As a conservation photographer and member of the IUCN Firefly Specialist Group, I'm dedicated to documenting and protecting the world's dwindling firefly populations. My work goes beyond capturing stunning images; it's a mission to raise awareness about these vital insects, many of which are now critically endangered.

I collaborate closely with leading firefly experts, including Sara Lewis, Anna Walker, Candace Fallon, Lynn Faust, and Christopher M. Heckscher, Ph.D., to identify and document endangered species, contributing directly to scientific research and conservation efforts.

My photography has been recognized by prestigious organizations such as the National Wildlife Federation, Nature Conservancy, Galapagos Conservancy, and Rainforest Alliance, and featured on National Geographic, BBC, Smithsonian, and other prominent media outlets. I partner with conservation organizations to create impactful presentations and gallery exhibits, inspiring audiences to appreciate and protect the natural world.

 

I use responsible photography and cinematography techniques that do not disturb fireflies in their natural habitat.  

I'm available for projects that support firefly conservation and am eager to collaborate with organizations dedicated to protecting these magical creatures.
