This is one of my favorite firefly photographs which I took in The Smoky Mountains National Park. It was a magical dance of Synchronous Fireflies. Synchronous fireflies in the Smokies flash in groups of six or seven flashes followed by about six seconds of darkness before repeating the pattern. It is a beautiful natural spectacle to see. This is a five minutes long multiple exposure.
